ONCE UPON A TIME...Bobby Charles '72

BOBBY CHARLES  Bobby Charles  (Bearsville,1972) - Folk rock

Four-fifths of the Band appear on Louisiana Cajun Bobby Charles' debut LP; he'd return the favor by appearing on The Last Waltz. But Charles had secured his legacy long before that, penning classics like "See You Later, Alligator" and "Walking to New Orleans." On Bobby Charles, he wades deep into the swamp rock he helped pioneer and comes out with something like modern-day Americana on songs like "Street People" and the Rick Danko cowrite "Small Town Talk.
