     This is quite simple and straight 80ties Hardrock, radio influenced, but then it was released in a time when Hardrock were very popular in the stated too, not like today.
     The simpleness in the music is sometimes alike what AC/DC (And actually there is a song here with the same name as a AC/DC song, "Hell of High Water") have been doing since the beginning of the seventies, but with a big touch of the sound that the bands in the states had in the eighties.
     So I think this is something you really should check out of you're a fan of the old American Hardrock scene, this is surely a pearl.

        More than any other drummer, Matt Cameron laid the rhythmic foundation for the Nineties rock revolution, reconciling proggy technicality with overwhelming force. He aptly characterized his rotary-blade rhythms on the 1991 Soundgarden track "Jesus Christ Pose" as "a pure assault of the senses," but that efficient brutality wasn't necessarily characteristic of Cameron's work with the band – his drumming on  Superunknown  is as thoughtful as it is heavy, from the fluid asymmetry of "Spoonman" to the unshakeable backbeat of "Fell on Black Days." Twenty years after its release, Dave Grohl was  still raving , "Nobody played drums like Matt."   GRAVY TRAIN  Gravy Train  (Vertigo,1970) - Progressive rock       Their debut shows Gravy Train as a brave and daring underground band, heavily influenced by and derivative of other prog/hard acts of the time, yet actually trying to push the boundaries forward. Unfortunately, since the album bombed, the guys preferred to dump all the experimentation of these songs in favour of a smoother, more commercial sound later on, which totally destroyed their idiosyncrasy and forever nailed them as second-rate good-for-nothings.
